Festive Fun in Edinburgh

So it’s almost time for the Festive fun to begin in Edinburgh once again. It’s a time of year that we love because Edinburgh really knows how to celebrate Christmas in style! There’s loads planned in the City over the next few months and we can’t wait to get cosied up in warm clothing and head out into the dark nights for mulled wine, twinkling lights and tasty treats.

We particularly love the European Christmas Market – this market opens on the 19th November and in our opininion, is one of the best in the UK! We like to browse the tree ornaments and buy one special one to remind us of the last year – soppy, us?!

We’re also looking forward to the Scottish Market this year (26 November – 24 December) and we’re hoping to pick up some festive foodie treats to perk up the holiday.

The 24 Doors of Advent (1 – 24 December) looks like it will be a good thing to do on one of our days off. We fancy taking a peek through the doors of the Royal Lyceum Theatre.

Last but by very means, no least is the Light Night on the 20th November because it ends with the switching on of the christmas tree and the proper start to the Festive season!

If you are looking to fill your tummy while taking part in all these activities then we have a Christmas lunch menu that should fill you up and tide you over quite nicely for a day exploring Edinburgh. Remember and book by calling us on 0131 225 6633 so you can guarantee your table.

Please note that we close the restaurant between 4 and 5pm.
