The Thai Orchid is a delightful Thai, family run Edinburgh restaurant, one of the first to open in Edinburgh in 1996, which has gone from strength to strength since relocating to Johnston Terrace, just off the Royal Mile in June 2005.

Within sight of Edinburgh Castle, the restaurant is modern, uncluttered, comfortable and spacious, leaving the authentic Thai artworks to speak for themselves.

The friendly, welcoming staff remain the same, and will help guide you through the exciting new menu which has many new additions including some fantastic seafood dishes and an extensive wine menu.

We are proud of our Thai food menus with herbs, spices and vegetables flown directly from Thailand and quality meat and fish are sourced locally from Shaws Fine Meats in Comely Bank and Eddie’s Seafood in Marchmont, Edinburgh.

The Thai Orchid is also a healthy choice as M.S.G is never used in the preparation of any of our dishes.
